I saw this gorgeous Eden Bridals bridesmaid dress in this month’s Brides magazine. The satin ruffle and ruched empire waist make this simple a-line style flattering, elegant, and modern. It’s shown in a very pretty “Rosy Brown” but available in dozens of colors. The price is about $180 retail or $140 online.

If you’re honeymooning outside of the country, including Mexico and the Carribean, you’ll need a passport. I love these stylish leather passport holders from CottonSisters.com, available in 5 pretty colors. Very cute and just $24 each.

I tend to be a big fan of Alvina Valenta wedding gowns. Past collections have been soft and feminine, but always with a stylish, modern twist. Unfortunately, I’m not loving the Fall 2008 collection. While these gowns are definitely pretty, they don’t seem to have the same romantic or luxurious feel. Do you agree? Tell me below.

The cover of the July/August Brides magazine showcased my favorite wedding trend of the season: adding flirty, colorful shoes to a white wedding gown.

If you loved the hot pink peep-toe shoes shown, but can’t afford the Christian Louboutin label, check out this similar pair from Chinese Laundry ($78.99)
