We love this gorgeous tiara from Connecticut-based Princessbands. Besides being a beautiful accessory, the company will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale to a charity of the bride’s choice. The Karma tiara is hand-crafted from jade beads, freshwater pearls, and crystals. Price is $260. Call 203-227-4837 for more info or to order.

These earrings, made of Swarovski crystal and pearls, would be the perfect complement for a romantic or vintage-style gown. The pretty baubles ($27) are handmade by Etsy.com seller EricaBapst, who just so happens to be based in Canandaigua! A matching necklace is also available ($26).

You probably won’t ever wear your costly tiara or dramatic hair combs again after the wedding day…unless you purchase them from Winters & Rain. This innovative retailer invites customers to send their hair accessories back after the wedding so that they can be restrung into heirloom jewelry.
The tiaras and combs are rather costly, starting around $200 and exceeding $500, but may be well worth if you’ll wear them as post-wedding jewelry for years to come.

The cover of the July/August Brides magazine showcased my favorite wedding trend of the season: adding flirty, colorful shoes to a white wedding gown.

If you loved the hot pink peep-toe shoes shown, but can’t afford the Christian Louboutin label, check out this similar pair from Chinese Laundry ($78.99)
